Novilla 9.8" Memory Foam Hybrid Mattress, 4FT6 Double, 135x190x25cm, Edge Support & Motion Isolation

Our old, traditionally sprung mattress was getting tired hence we needed to replace it. Having done my usual rounds of research we settled for this hybrid mattress given the claimed movement isolation due to the pocketted springs topped with a layer of cooling memory foam. Plus it was a lot cheaper than the other big name mattresses and came with a 100 day trial. It was delivered in a box which was remarkably small considering there was meant to be a king size mattress inside; it was also reassurringly heavy and required manhandling up to our bedroom. The mattress had been deeply vacuum packed, folded in half, rolled up, and sturdily cling filmmed. There's a shrouded cutter supplied to safely cut through all this packaging. The mattress expands quite quickly once it is released from the packaging and there was no offgassing smell that I could detect. Having left if for the requisite time to fully expand and settle we ended up with a full sized, 8 inch deep mattress. We ordered the 8 inch depth so that we wouldn't have to change our existing bedlinen. It's proving to be a fine mattress. To us it is quite firm, I'm 11 stone and I barely sink into it, but we prefer this level of firmness. The pocketted springs do provide excellent movement isolation as my wife will testify - she barely notices me getting in and out of bed now. The gel layer does provide some contoured support but not as much as I expected and I imagine that the deeper mattresses in the range would be better at this. I'm uncertain whether the gel has a cooling effect as advertised but I am certainly very comfortable, temperature wise, lying on it. So if you're in the market for a replacement mattress I can recommend you at least try this one out. The 100 day trial period means you should be able to return it if you don't like it but I don't expect you will need to.

This mattress was purchased to replace a ordinary sprung mattress which had become extremely uncomfortable..It arrived in a box and was vacuum packed..We unpacked it, unrolled it,and left it to expand to its proper size. as per the instructionsIn .In our case we bought a small double..When it was ready to use we were amazed at the comfort and quality of this product.It is a delight to sleep on.You can buy this with absolute confidence of getting an excellent night's sleep,in our opinion.Brilliant value for money.I would definitely recommend this mattress.

Great support, very comfortable. A very good budget mattress, but with the feel of the more expensive "named" mattresses. Good quality, nice fabric. Once in place, (you need two people, its heavy) and the plastic covering carefully cut with cutter tool provided, it unfurled into place. We left it all day and made up bed in the evening and it seemed to have increased in size fine. Its medium firm,but bouncy too, so if you like it really soft then its not it for you, but its so comfy, i used to wake up with aches, but not any more so Im really glad i bought this. Comes with a 10 year warranty,use s textiles certified free from harmful chemicals, has a cool foam layer on the built in topper and a sprung system for proper body support. The company are based in New York.:- Update 2 years on and it's still as comfortable as when first purchased and still looking good(i always use a mattress protector.)Like it so much purchased one for daughter and partner when they moved into new apartment and they love it too.Would not hesitate to purchase for another room if needed.

Unpacked when it arrived and put in spare room. Box was undamaged and the mattress looked flat (as that is how they are sent, in a roll) so this was damaged at the factory. Not used for two months and then realised there was a dip the length of the bed where the springs had separated. It's a great single bed but can't be used as a double unless you like sleeping in a cravass. When you feel it and push gently you can tell where there seems to be a whole missing row of springs down the whole bed. Either that or it suffered a massive compression when it was being flattened and rolled to get in the box. Contacted the manufacturers and they responded asking for loads of info and pictures which I was happy to send over. That was it. No more comms from them. Do not expect support. I guess I had my fingers crossed for them giving me a solution that meant I didn't have to send it back. In general a comfy bed but the warranty is very short although they don't help you so it could be 10 years and you'd have the same result! Had to initiate an Amazon return. I just wanted a mattress and it had turned into a rubbish process. I wouldn't buy a product from these guys again.

I am absolutely delighted with this mattress. It is extremely comfortable. It's quite a firm mattress supporting you in all the right places. It is thick and heavy. Fantastic value for money and would definitely recommend to everyone. Just go careful lifting it as it is very heavy in the box. Our delivery driver was very careful and caring. Quick delivery too.

J'achète ce matelas pour ma nièce, ce matelas est très confortable et de qualité, pas d'odeur, très épais. Ma nièce s'endort facilement et rapidement et jusqu'au matin, elle peut avoir plus d'énergie pendant la journée. Pour ce rapport qualité prix, je recommanderais ce matelas.

Le matelas a l’air d’excellente qualité, confortable. je met 4 étoiles parce qu’il est dit qu’il fait 27 cm alors qu’il en fait 25 cm. Des l’achat contacter le fournisseur (mail dans la notice) pour bénéficier des 10 ans de garantie.

Ottimo materasso grazie a cui ho smesso di avere, durante la notte ed al risveglio, dolore nella zona lombare. Non da la sensazione di eccessivo calore che può dare un materasso in memory (li ho trovati odiosi, il dolore alla schiena persisteva. . insomma restiuiti al mittente), la durezza è media .. e avendo una rete del letto a molle usata e abusata, sono riuscita a rendere più duro il materasso aggiungendo una tavola in legno sotto -> sonno perfetto! Ma se avete le doghe, non servirà alcuna aggiunta. Ve lo consiglio! Poi ha anche un prezzo basso!! Imballaggio perfetto con in aggiunta un taglierino per tagliare l'involucro e le istruzioni per il lavaggio e l'uso.

The description says "medium firm." In fact it is the softest mattress ever created, it gives no support for the body and I can feel each spring coil. It also sayd "hybrid" but I don't think there is any memory foam. I will return it immediately.
